Omg this Phone is amazing.. The only thing that would stop me from
getting this phone when it cones out is an awesome sidekick that can do
everything this does coming out at the same time or before. However
this is really unlikely because sidekick just released the sk09 and this
phone may be out as soon as this Xmas. As far as what it can
do..basically everything and the best part is that it will have a social
networking app that will allow you to be logged into basically all of
your accounts on different sites at the same time with real time
updates.

This phone will be coming to t-mobile.

Nails

Generally, Acryllic nails and or crystal are just not worth the effort at least in my opinion. Between the cost of maintenance and the time, never mind if you ever break one.. the injuries can get grusome. Plus the risk of infection. I knew someone who got a fungus because the skin around her nails coudldn't breathe. She had to get all ten cuticles split by a razor blade.. yes that blade was inserted underneath the cuticle *SCREAMS*

Yea but aside from all of that these nails look really really nice :)

So as Taylor Swift was on cloud 9 about to accept her award Kanye Runs
up on stage and says that she did not deserve the award and that instead
Beyonce should have won.

I know that in the moment Kanye couldn't understand how Taylor Swift's
video could have topped Beyonce's single ladies, HOWEVER, what Kanye did
not know was that Beyonce would win best video of the year for Single
Ladies.

When Beyonce accepted her award she invited Taylor Swift back on stage
with her so that she could have her moment.

Lil Kim

I would to dedicated this blog entry to Lil Kim. She is so amazing and
she really paved the way for women in general and especially for women
in entertainment. Lil Kim is best known for being the best female
rapper and one of the best rappers ever. She was also known for her
scandalous attire when she first came out.

What is interesting about Ms. Kim is that when she first came out a lot
of people criticized her for her choice of clothes but fast forward 10
years and every female in the industry is copying her style. Most
female performers chose to leave modesty at the door when choosing a
career in entertainment now. This is awesome ..one small step for Lil
Kim one huge step for woman kind.

Thank you Lil Kim for liberating women and their choice of expression,
and for putting a female voice to hip hop. You're lyrics alone
shattered so many stereotypes about women. You Go Lil Kim!!!

9/11 8 Years Later

So many years have passed. In the wake of the 9/11 Attacks America has had so many way of coping with this event. From community support groups, books, a war on terror, to different formes of entertainment.

On of the most in depth shows covering the aftermath of 9/11 and how it affected New York City Fire Fighters is Rescue Me an FX original. Denis Leary is played the main character Tommy Gavin. This show pays constant respects to the fire fighters who sacrficed their lives 9/11. Other shows that help American's cope with 9/11 and the war on terror include 24. Our favorite American hero Jack Bower is able to save the day every episode. This is therapeutic on some level. It helps the veiwers take in what happened 9/11 and gives back story and explains the larger picture of international terrorism. Unfortunatley, there was no Jack Bower on the morning of September 11th 2001, and this day will always be reminder of our vunerability and of all the great people we lost that day.

Sesame Street Recession Special

Awww The Sesame Street special about the economic crisis was greeat!!
Everyone is affected by this economy. Elmo's mommy lost her job and had
to explain to Elmo that their family would have to cut back and make
changes in the way they spend. Elmo had to make sacrifices too.
Instead of going to the amusement park he had to go to the regular
park. Elmo handled this well and was very understanding.

Grover was also looking for a job and got some resume tips about job
experience. LOlz Apparently Grover has a lot of job experience. Grover
has been:

1. A Detective
2. A Waiter
3. A Singing Waiter
4. A Break Dancer
And a few other things. I thought that was hilarious

This was so great. I totally love Sesame Street this episode was so
essential to help children understand the current economy and changes
that are being made accordingly.

Sesame Street Is AMAZING !!

Obama's Health Care Address

Tonights Health Care address was awesome. Obama hit all the major
points of concern in his speech and put a stop to ridiculous rumors
about his new reform killing senior citizens. Smh It is sad that some
representatives of the republican party would terrorize the elderly with
outrageous claims.

Obama assured us that with the new reformF

1. it would be against the law to deny coverage to those with
pre-existing conditions.

2. There would be limits on premium increases.

3. No one would be dropped from their insurance.

4. There would be no yearly or lifetime limits on coverage.

The new reform is supposed to take place in four years. It sounds
awesome.

Thank you President Obama for making Health Care practical and humane.

President and the Kids

I am soo glad that President Obama addressed the Youth. I think it is
totally appropriate for the president to address students of our country
about academic performance. Unfortunately America is falling behind on
a global scale in Academic achievement.

I hope America brings up their scores. Thanks Obama for encouraging our
youth. And as far as all of the hublahh with him addressing the
students...since when doesn't the President visit schools and make
speeches. All of this excessive criticism of Obama over nothing is
masked racism, This is what happens when burning crosses on lawns
becomes illegal. Racist people get more crafty with their expressions
of prejudice. Smh very unfortunate.

Oprah vs Tyra

Wow so now Tyra and Oprah are scheduled for the same time block. This
is totally scary. I like many viewers enjoy watching both shows. They
are both extremely entertaining and informative. I would prefer that
they don't compete because I would like to see both, now I have to
choose and record the other=wack + time consuming= I probably won't do
all of that and end up seeing one and not the other -__-

Plus there's only two Black women in daytime talk why do they to fight
each other for viewers. *not excited about this*

The Future of Comedy

So without racism where is the furture of comedy???

For so many years American humor has been based on cultural ignorance, and stereotypes. Now that we are coming into an age where every one is so diverse e.g. having friends and even family of so many different cultures how can we still listen to the same Black, White comedy?

I love comedy and appreciate humor in every aspect of life but I have noticed that many routines have gotten tired. I can't laugh at the average black white jokes that would have been hilarious a few years ago. Not that racism is gone, I am certainly aware that racism is alive and thriving in the United States, however, the differences between blacks and whites are starting to dissapear as more cultures are able to advance economically and as we advance we realize that all whites are not wealthy.

Culture in America was so divided and in recent years has drastically evolved into a melting pot of so many different cultures.

This is a serious threat to American comedy. Since the very beginning of of our nation the conceopt of comedy and racism went hand in hand for example: mintrel shows, a birth of a nation etc. This tradition has continued throughout the history of our comedy for example: many early cartoons were racist, and shows such as All in the Family, and Good Times carried on the tradition of racist entertainment.

If all of a sudden racist comedy was prohibited MOST of what we know as comedy would not be acceptable. Here is a list of comedians who have based the majority of their act on racism:

Eddie Murphy
Dick Gregory


There is a laundry list of present day comedians who would be without any routine if they had to avoid making jokes that had anything to do with race. These comedians are deeply appreciated and I admire most of them and find theor comedy hilarious, however, if racism continues to decline what will we have to entertain ourselves?? Comedy is a reflection of our reality and each and every one of the comedians who included racial humor in their routines was neccessary and played a crucial part in improving race relations in the United States. Now that race relations have somewhat improved and will probably get better over time what will comedians do??
