Details Pelham 123

I would like to say for the record I like the film "The Taking of Pelham
123" both the original and the one that's in theaters now. The story is
great an everything falls together well except for one little detail.

The 6 train doesn't go to Coney Island, also the 6 train would not even
be able to run on the Coney Island tracks. This cannot happen because
the 6 train being apart of the IRT line was built to run on smaller
rails. The IRT line is an older system that has smaller tracks. The
letter trains including the lines that go out to Coney Island were built
later to a larger scale of tracks.

But other than this tiny detail the movie was awesome. :)

ABC Back Handed Tribute

As a Michael fan and follower I did not really appreciate the Tribute that ABC put together for Michael. I feel insulted and I felt as a viewer that ABC did not have the best interest of Michale's legacy at heart. My impression is that this tribute was an opportunity for media bullies to take a last jab at the Legend. I believe that it was a disgrace that Martin Bashir A.K.A the knave journalist that lived with Michael and tried desperately to twist everything Michael said into ridiculousness.

Clearly, Martin does not care for Michael or respect him as an artist or a person and from day one was out to cast Michael in a bad light. Why would ABC cast Martin to do the tribute if he never had anything positive to say about Michael? This tribute was tacky, backhanded and a disgrace. Michael Jackson accomplished so much throughout his career and all the tribute could focus on was his trials and accusations of lunacy, no mention of the Charities Michael began or lives he touched. the main focus of this tribute was the negative media attention Michael received.



Apparently with ABC the jokes never stop, have some respect and a drop of professionalism!

Beyonce Rich Girl Opens

Rich Girl is opening for Beyonce at the Verizon Center. About 2 minutes
into the performance their track starts skipping on their song 24
inches. It was okay though cuz they can sang lolz. I am sure they will
over come this technical difficulty "cuz that's what makes them Rich
Girls"

I can't for Sasha Fierce.
And Rich Girl killed it with "He ain't wit me now tho"

Beyonce I Am At The Verizon Center

Lol, so yes I was bold enough to take Metro in to the Verizon Center To
see Beyonce Knowles pahform hah I am concert!
Whooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

Lolz shehas such a particular crowd. Its hilarious its all young adults
high school and college kids on the train going going to see the
concert. Lol I looks like a family reunion hahaha.

Well I hope the show is good.

Prejalicious?

So Tiff from Girlicious was dropped from the group since the group
apparently wants to go for a more "pop" feel. I wonder why they thought
she wouldn't be able to adapt and look more "pop". Tiff was also told
that she was more urban . Lets see what's Urban about Tiff? Can anyone
guess what made them think she was more "Urban" than the other girls?

Taking the Bus

Yea So I started to take the train and then I saw the Express front page picture and I decided to take the bus instead.

While I was in the station there were announcements to add an hour to
your normal commute times because of delays.

The Wreckage at the stations: Fort Totten, Takoma,
Brookland by utilizing Shuttle buses. While a metro trip is possible I
am not sure it's worth it. Bus traffic is a bit heavier today normally
this bus is less crowded at this time.

How Safe Are you?

Just How safe are you on the metro? I was just about to start my rush
hour commute when there was a huge delay. It was
obvious there was a problem because there was a Glenmont bound red line
train being held in the station and it wasn't boarding. I waited there
for over twenty five minutes and decided to leave and get home via bus.

While I was on the platform there were several announcements about
delays in both directions due to a train malfunction. I heard from a
friend in New Jersey that there had been a train accident. She was
contacting to make sure I was okay. The Metro announcements both via
email and from the Station Masters never mentioned anything about any
crash, accident or collision.

The emails referred to the incident as a disruption and announced that
the "disruption" was cleared @ 5 48pm 6/22/2009 a large number
passengers exiting Metro at that same time. The disruption
being cleared must have not have restored service. I read email alerts
all the time recognizing "disruptions" I just hope that all of these
disruptions are not understatements like today's accident was.

I am writing this as I sit and appreciate life on the bus headed home.
Smh

Pelham 123

The Taking of Pelham 123 was a great!!!! That was an awesome movie it held my attention from beginning to end. This move was full of suspense. I FELT SOOO AWESOME THAT I SAW THIS MOVIE IN NYC! I recognized most of the places I was like ^_^ Yayy!


This movie was truly awesome. I am inspired to see the original and also to read the book. Denzel Washington did a great job with this character Walter Garber, John Travolta also did a great job as well Denis A.K.A Ryder.

Kudos to everyone involed in the making of this film. It was great. I am proud to bea New Yorker!!

Please Don't Talk Loud

So I am on the bus and I am headed to NYC and there is a woman near by
who is talking extremely loud. Fist she was on the phone and now she is
talking to a friend sitting next to her. So since she chose to share
this with the entire bus, I am going to share this with u.

So she will be running a marathon soon, she is vindictive, she smokes
and curses, and is also on medication.

Side effects of her medication include CONSTIPATION
(LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO) and
insomnia. Her medication causes her to get frustrated which causes her
to yell at her daughter. She broke up with some guy who never mentions
her anymore and TALKS RELE LOUD.

To all of the readers out there Please be a peach and don't scream all
of the details of your life on a bus when other people are trying to
sleep. Smh ..some people sheesh

Why You Should Elect Leiominala

Live Journal is a great and valuable place to post and publish personal thoughts isdeas and commentary. For ten years LJ has been a place for great minds to express and exchange great ideas. Rescue Me

Season 5 is awesome Mike Silletti A.K.A Probee is standing up for
himself. Tommy and Janet may be coming to an understanding and Sheila
and Tommy are getting closer again. I really appreciate this series.
Denis Leary did a greeat job shining light on the ups and downs of Fire
Fighters in NYC Post 911.

Before this series aside from Third Watch I never really thought about
the lives and struggles of fire fighters and the risks they face on a
daily basis. Even Third Watch didn't go into the lives and emotions of
the fire fighters with the depth that Rescue Me does.

The show is very entertaining and gave me a totally different
perspective of fire fighters.

Yea this tree def has a big butt...like I dunno what else to say....

All of Us

This documentary aired on Shotime June 13. This documentary did an
amazing job exploring the connections between poverty, gender, history
of abuse, domestic and vulnerability to HIV/AIDS.

I recommend this documentary to anyone.

Jerry's Subs and Pizza

Jerry's Subs and Pizza in Bethesda has this weird quality to it that's
not necessarily bad just strangely different from the rest of the world
outside of it.

When I stepped in there was this overwhelming Truck Stop Diner feel to
it. It felt like time slowed down, The cheeseburger I has was okay.

The restaurant remained nearly empty with the exception of two other
customers even though it was lunch time.

Have You ever?

Have you ever noticed how many Manhole covers there are around the
capitol in DC? There's so many.

Dominoes is Good

Dominoes Cheesy bread is great.

Bad Weather

Bad weather is only cool when you are at home and don't have anywhere
you want to go. Bad weather is even cooler when it prevents you from
going some where you don't really feel like going.

Bad weather is extremely un cool when you have to walk in Judgement Day
rain and despite your umbrella you end uhp soaked. Yesterday's Thunder
and Lightning was straight up scary. BTW nothing on earth is cooler than
a serious lightning storm over the NJ Turnpike at night seeing the bolts
of Lightning flash over the wires and transformers is soo Apocalyptic
looking if I ever get a picture of that I will post it. :)

Interface - Neal Stephenson

So seriously I know its summer time but I really really really want to
start reading this book. I am giving 110% effort into getting into
this Book.

Its okay so far but the beginning is awkward because we are jumping into
the whole genealogy of a person that we don't even know. I mean the
book is kinds thick so I am sure that the long and painfully boring
story about this person is necessary in order to develope the main
character so that the reader understands things that happen later on,
but sneesh I am almost tempted to wait 'til the movie movie comes out
lmao but my inner Geek won't let me be the new person in the theater
that isn't capable of really truly understanding everything cuz I didn't
read the original work. Lolz

Entire experience above = me during Star Trek Movie lolz

But yea I'm gonna read this book!

Annoyed?

Has anyone ever said anything that just totally annoyed you? Sometimes
people say things without thinking and although they may not mean any
harm they put out words into the universe that can sometimes send your
mood downhill.

Although, people say annoying things and some people may be guilty of
this more often than others, many do not mean to be annoying. Most of
the time when someone says something annoying it's coming from a place
of insecurity, or ignorance.

So the next time someone says something annoying just remember they are
probably dealing with a roller coaster of inferior emotions or they are
socially inept and don't have the capability of recognizing that the
things they say are dumb and could annoy others.

Either way they are suffering more with their insecurity and ignorance
than you are with your annoyance so don't worry about annoying things
that people say.
