Economic Ripples

The economy is an extremely important part of life. The economy does not only affect money and what we can buy but it ultimately affects everything else in our lives like our self esteem and our relationships. Besides the obvious strains that money can put on relationships there are other indircet affects that factor into the overall outcome of a failing economy. Such as personal well being. If any given person is under stress about bills their overall well being will suffer because of the strain of finances.

If their well being is suffering this could include their level of happiness, their security in their future, their self- worth, and their ability to cope with other daily problems and issues. This could result in depression, missplaced anger and frustration which could both create problems with how they deal with their friends and family ESPECIALLY their spouses. This could result in increased bickering with those closest to us which will ironically only increase stress as it weakens some of our most important relationships. This type of a problem can snowball into a failed relationship, divorce, conflict at work depression, and all sorts of other problems that will only increase our levels of stress. Monetary burden should be taken seriously as it is vital to the rest of our existence. This is not to say that money is the only important thing but it should definitely be spent in moderation, after all most of the average American's debt is accumulated as a result of luxury purchases.
Remeber that the economic state that we are in is responsible for a lot that we are dealing with, so the next time you are feeling a little snappy and aggravated take a moment to reflect and make sure that you are reacting appropriately to the situation and not actually on edge about your finances.

So until next time; before you react harshly take a moment to think things through when dealing those closest to you in this difficult times.

Call Center Take Home

Hello there all! *waves*
With the elections near political fever has swept the country. I am
very excited about the upcoming elections and I would encourage everyone
who is eligible to vote. Along with the excitement about the elections
come job openings for campaigns and political polling. A combination of
political passion and my liking to talk brought me to work at a
political call center.

During my stay at the call center I have noticed a few things:

1. Most McCain supporters that I have encountered are extremely
uneducated and dare I say out of touch with real issues.
2. There are usually three types of people that respond to political
surveys.
Type A. Hang up immediately when they realize its a survey
Type B. Those who pretend like they don't want to participate in the
survey but urge you to continue questioning them.
Type C. Those who are sooo friendly and excited about the topic at
hand that they actually end up surveying YOU!
3. I personally cannot stand when people say that they don't care about
politics. I bet if the wrong person got into office and passed laws
that required strange objects to be stuck up their butts they would care
about politics!!! >:o
4. People say outrageous things...>_> well I know people always say
outrageous things but especially over the phone!

For example: ABSURDITY ENCOUNTERED AT A CALL CENTER

* "of course I support affirmative action after all that's how Obama got
his education" - woman from ohio

* answering machine of old man: "Boop"
Old man with raspy voice on answering machine: "You know what to do!"
Lol!!!

* -grumpy man from Indiana: "is this call pertaining to political
bullsh*t?"
-leiominala: "indeed it is *smiles and bats eyelashes cheerfully*
-grumpy old man from Indiana: *grumbles and hangs up*

*leiominala: Hello I am calling Opinions R Us and I would like to know if I could ask you a few questions?
-Rude lady from upstate New York: "Hell Nawww U aint got nothing better tah do BITCH!"
-Leiominala: *dies lauging and says " thank you and have a great day :)"
*smh*

Well that's all for now until next time VOTE!

DECLINED!!!!! Please Put Your Hand Down You Are NOT Ballin!

So yesterday I was in an un-named Sandwich shop whose name is based on
the New York City Transit system... and there was a gentlemen in front
of me who was paying for his food. So everything is going normally
until the cashier suddenly goes "its no working" so the gentlemen says
"excuse me?" and the cashier goes "your card is no is working, it says
decline." So then the gentlemen goes oh *looks terribly
surprised+embarrassed+paniced* and he says "uhm the card must be
failing because I know I have a lot of money in the bank, I am gonna
have to check on that, maybe its because I spent too much money
today...how much was it again *scrambles nervously to find cash and
almost doesn't find enough" I was pretending not to notice but I was
thinking >_> WAMP!!!! First of all rarely do cards "fail" and say
declined! Second of all how much money did u spend today again cuz its
only 11 am so most stores just opened an hour ago, which means you would
have had to wait outside the store to enter and shop as soon as it
opened, shopped, traveled back home to drop off your bags *cuz he had no
shopping bags* and then miraculously made it here to try to buy a
sandwich at 11am >_> yea that...that probably did not happen. Third of
all if one was accustomed to having soooo much money and spending sooo
much money in one day there would be no reason to have a spending limit
on your account which would shoot down Gentleman's excuse number two
about having spent tooo much money today. ROFL

Always be true to yourself.
